Mark Webster - My Earliest Abstract Paintings 4 - Untitled - Abstract Figurative Acrylic Painting

Mark Webster - Untitled Abstract Figurative Oil Painting.

This is another early abstract painting. A point of interest on these early paintings is that I was using oil for the "Cubist" style (straight line/angular) paintings and acrylic for the "Futurist" style (curvilinear/rounded) paintings. This has completely switched since then as I realized that it became much easier to work edge on edge with straight lines using acrylic and curvilinear lines using oil.

24x18" Oil on Gessoed Watercolor Paper.
